This is a very satisfying smoothie, and the addition of oatmeal means you don’t end up wanting a second breakfast half an hour later.
Date and oatmeal smoothie
(serves 2)
- 1/3 cup (30g) rolled oats
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- 4 soft dates, pitted and roughly chopped
- 1 Tb honey, or to taste
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender and whizz until smooth.
